It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Imogene Ione Christiansen of Great Bend, Kansas, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nolte and Elizabeth Nolte (Ukens); her spouse Jesse Duane Christiansen; her daughter Mary Ulrich; her brother Gilbert Nolte; and her granddaughter Emily Ulrich.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joan Klein of Russell, Dana Cheney (Greg) of Shawnee and Kim Christiansen (Stan Light) of Owasso, Okla.; her brothers, James Nolte of Stafford and Roy Nolte of Hoisington; and her grandchildren, Doug Ulrich, Matt Ulrich (Deb), Lisa Ulrich, Jeremy Ulrich (Mindie), Aaron Cheney (Julia), Zac Cheney, Jenna Wann (Kelby) and Kaity Hays (Cody).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to First United Methodist Church, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
