He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman F. Fischer and Flora M. Fischer (Bunselmeyer); his daughter Cheryl Jean Fischer; his daughter-in-law Leann Fischer; and his brother-in-law Robert Overholt.
He is survived by: his wife Norma J. LeRoy; his children, Rhonda Wineinger (Pat) of Great Bend, Gregg Fischer of Great Bend and Debra Fischer of Houston; his sister Donna Overholt Clausing (Larry) of Tiffin, Ohio.; his granddaughters, Ann Heine (Jeff) of Great Bend, Nikki Deeds (Zach) of Pratt and Stacey Stump (Jeff) of St. John; and his great grandchildren, Kiley, Trae, Branden, Rylee, August, Archer and Clara.
Memorials have been designated to First Congregational United Church of Christ or the Shorthorn Foundation which builds shorthorn opportunities for youth through research and education, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
