He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Schindler and Vera Schindler (Arrington); his son Rick Schindler; his girlfriend Judy Schindler; his siblings, Richard, Charles, Abe, Rita Hrabe and Avis Look; and his siblings-in-law, Gene Hrabe, Norman Hrabe, Lester Look, Julie, Sandy, Shirley and Barbara.
He is survived by: his former wife Bernadine Schultz; his son Don Schindler (Lisa) of Newton, Kan.; his grandsons, Gage (Gavin Reich), Calif and Carson Schindler of Newton, Kan.; and his siblings, Kermit of Stockton, Marvin of Goddard, Louis of Hill City, Kenneth of Topeka, Kan., Zoe Hrabe and Marilyn Miller (Dwight) of Stockton, Kan.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
