We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2020, at the age of 98, Helen Mayers Blado (Great Bend, Kansas), born in Tipton, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Casper Pahls and Anna Pahls (Junk); her former husband Virgil Mayers; her son Steven Mayers; and her grandchildren, Adam and Tiffini.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Mayers of Great Bend, Frank Mayers (Jolene) of Piedmont, Okla, John Mayers (Marie) of Albert, Virginia Ramey (Rex) of Great Bend, Vivian Pavlacka of Great Bend and Barbara File (Allyn) of Beloit; her daughter-in-law Roxanne Mayers of Great Bend; and her sister Lilliam Harris of La. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
