It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glen Courtney in Great Bend, Kansas, born in Dighton, Kansas, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eulice James and Blanche Courtney (Adams); his wife Mildred Rebecca "Becky" Steckman (Smith); his son Samuel L. Courtney (Sandy); his siblings, Raymond E. Courtney (Judith) and Linda A. Browning; his grandson Raymond Hazuka of Hoisington, KS; his great grandchild Athena Pearl Hazuka of Hoisington, KS; and his daughter Millie Hazuka. He was also cherished by 3 nieces, 1 nephew and many other family members and friends.
Due to Covid 19, a private family military graveside will take place in the Farmington Cemetery, Macksville, KS, with Pastor Jacob Russell presiding.
Memorials may be given to the Macksville Christian Church or the Macksville EMS in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, KS 67576.
