Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gladys Marie Durand (Great Bend, Kansas), who passed away at the age of 86, on December 26, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Depiesse and Theresa Depiesse (Schremmer) of Redwing; her brothers, LaVerne, Larry and Marlin "Butch" Depiesse; and her grandson Austin Medina.

She is survived by: her daughters, Joni Kennedy (Kurt) of Great Bend and Jacqueline Medina of Longmont, Colorado.; her husband Jay Durand; her siblings, Geraldine Bieberle and Ed Depiesse; her grandchildren, Ryan Kennedy, Natalie Van Horn (Denton), Aimee Cazares (Denton), Brett Kennedy and Anthony Medina; and her great grandchildren, Claire, Conor and Chani Kennedy.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Road, Great Bend, Kansas.

“Joni & Jackie- was so sorry to hear the news that Gladys passed away. We were classmates at Claflin High School. We had many fun times those years. Even though I now live in Pennsylvania, every time I came home to visit family- we always had a girlfriend get together for lunch. Our last time was several years ago. We never lost touch. My sympathy to you, Jay and your families.”
