Franklin Dale Reinhardt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Dale Reinhardt of Great Bend, Kansas, born in Bazine, Kansas, who passed away on December 26, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ben Reinhardt and Neta Reinhardt; his children, Roxanne Smith of Wichita, Brent Reinhardt (Janet) of Wichita and Renee Betcher of Leesburg; his grandchildren, Abby Andrus (Adam), Rex Reinhardt (Sammi), Megan Betcher, Matthew Betcher, Blake Scarmeas (Erica) and Cole Scarmeas; his great grandchildren, Boone Smith, Vera Smith, Hazel Smith, Elsie Andrus and Lexie Andrus (family: Ban Le Tran, Jackie, Esther, Victor, Remy, Sandy, Chinese); his grandson Long Zhao; his siblings, Richard Reinhardt of Overland Park, Kan. and Margaret Hahn of Palo Alto, Cal.; his wife LaVerne Aileen Pascoe; his sister Dorothy Biggs; and also Mary Scarmeas.

He was recognized by the Jaycees in 1958 as recipient of the Distinguished Service Award for his contributions to the Great Bend community.
