He is survived by: his parents, Daniel Wapelhorst and Joyce Wapelhorst (Sell Jensen) of Great Bend; his sisters, Kathy Wapelhorst (Doug Clark) of Great Bend, Paula Stocker (James Love) of Great Bend and Nancy Sawyer of Great Bend; his adoptive son Griffith (Emily) of Johnson City, Texas; his grandchildren, Adam and Ann Griffith; and his pet Cleo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
