It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Josephine Penka (Great Bend, Kansas), who passed away on March 28, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stoss and Antonia Stoss (Langer); her husband Edward; her son Dale; and her siblings, Edward Stoss, Erma Schloctermeier and Leona Reichuber.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Wallace (Ken) of Wichita, Kenneth Penka (Rhonda) of Great Bend and Kathy Penka of Lenexa; her sister Arlene Yarmer of Galatia; her sister-in-law Darlene Stoss of Hosington; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Penka, Grant Wallace, Dillon Wallace, Denise Dietz, Tony Penka, Gina Calhoon, Lisa Shepherd, Rolla Hansen, Garin Hansen and Emory Hansen. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and one step great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Holy Family School Endowment Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
