He was predeceased by: his parents, Spurgeon Hoelscher and Beulah Mae Hoelscher (Learned); his wife Shirley Ann Hoelscher (Shann); his sister Elaine Finley; and his son-in-law Jay Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Ryan (Jim) of Claflin, Rosemary Werdahl of Holyrood, Phyllis Johnson of Manhattan and Rita Hoelscher of Manhattan; his siblings, Delbert Hoelscher (Sherry) of Bushton and Carolyn Rich (Ron) of Wichita; his brother-in-law Dr. Dennis Finley of Wichita; and his grandchildren, Brandon Werdahl, LaKesha Johnson, Jasmin Johnson, Michael Ryan (Katie), Janae Ryan, Devin Ryan, Emily Ryan and Peyton Ryan.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Salem Church (517 Avenue E, Bushton, KS 67427).
