It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ersell Louise Tiede of Great Bend, Kansas, who passed away on November 21, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Alexander and Thelma Irene Skinner (Reinecke); her husband Ray E. Tiede; her granddaughter Sarah Rogers Skinner; her daughter-in-law Andra Tiede; and her siblings, Wesley A. Skinner, Jr., John W. Skinner, Ray L. Skinner, Roy "Gene" E. Skinner, Bernadine Sullivan, June Yahne, Carol Larkin, Donna Schroeder and Betty Hopkins.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Ray Tiede (Nancy Lessig) of Scenic, Kelly Eugene Tiede (Donine) of Branson, Missouri, Kathryn Jean King (Max) of Great Bend, Kimberly Ann Grossardt (Phil) of Great Bend and Karen Louise Jones (David) of Rossville, Kansas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
