She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank B. Jones and Bertha O. Jones (Rictor); her parents-in-law, Glenn G. and Helen E. Taylor (Holt); her son-in-law Keith Benker; and her stepgrandson Kelly Benker.
She is survived by: her former spouse Ancil M. Taylor of Sterling; her children, Max Alan and Lora Lee Taylor (Brent Dungan); her former husband Elmo Merritt; her daughters, DeeAnn (Jim Krueger) and Maribeth Benker of Great Bend; her grandson Christopher Krueger of Wichita, KS; her spouse Kelsy Krueger of Wichita; her great grandchildren, RaeLynn Rowe, Kimber Rowe of Great Bend and Lennox Krueger of Wichita; and her sisters, Ilene Roth (Jones) of Hutchinson and Sue Hill (Jones) of Hutchinson.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to honor Ermalee's request of making a donation in her name to one of her favorite nonprofit organizations: Hutchinson Animal Shelter, Radio Kansas or PBS Kansas, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
