She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Lomas and Billiegene Lomas (Wickle); her stepfather Art Snell; and her brother Mark Lomas. She is survived by: her husband Benny H. Carson of Great Bend, Kansas; her children, Jeff Gillespie (Beth) of Hitchcock, Todd Gillespie of St. John, John Carson of Great Bend, Kansas, April McPherson (Mark) of Lenexa, Amanda Bickle (Lance) of Hays and Aleasha Gouge (Richard Soukup) of Great Bend, Kansas; her grandchildren, Bryce Gillespie, Chailyn Gillespie, Conner Gillespie, Kayla McPherson, Brett McPherson, Reagan McPherson, Elizabeth McPherson, Alexis Bickle, Alayna Bickle, Cade Carson, Logan Gouge, Addie Gerdes, Sydney Ridgel and Layne Soukup; her great grandchild Stella Ridgel; and her sister Annette Whisnant (Larry) of Bennington, Oklahoma. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
