He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Jacobs and Rose Jacobs (Klug); his wife Sue; his brothers, Virgil, Alvin and Melvin Jacobs; and his brothers-in-law, Daniel Graney and Doug Nimmo.
He is survived by: his children, Monte Jacobs (Crystal) of Odin and Renee Zink (Neil) of Odin; his grandchildren, Carson Jacobs, Bella, Lily and Jacob Zink; and his sisters, Carol Graney of Bellevue and Judy Nimmo of St. Louis, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials have been made to Claflin Ambulance Fund, Claflin Community Scholarship, and University of Kansas Health Systems LVAD Care, in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, PO Box 146, Hoisington, KS 67544.
