He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Bender and Mabel M. Bender (Riemann); his son Brandon D. Bender; and his wife Karen. He is survived by: his close friend Linda; and his children, Benjamin McDowell of Denver, Heath McDowell of Garden City, Blake McDowell of Provo, Tommy McDowell of Dumas, Dalton Bender of Great Bend, Danica Bender of Emporia, Laura McDowell of Dumas and Audrianna Bender of Great Bend. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
