She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommie Thomas and Ola Thomas (Tucker); her husband Clarence Piland, Jr.; and her siblings, Bud Thomas, Pete Thomas, Christine Pugh, Ruby Holladay and Dolly Richmon.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Knipe of Great Bend and Debra Keil of Broken Arrow, Okla.; her grandchildren, Bret Keil, Brice Keil (Kasie) and Lacie Green (Nick); her great grandchildren, Gavin Green and Brynlee Keil; and her brothers, Virgil Thomas of Ark and Jerry Thomas of Texas.
Memorials may be given to First Southern Baptist Church or the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce Beautification Committee, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
