Donna Lee McAllaster Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2021, at the age of 90, Donna Lee McAllaster of Great Bend, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Wendale E. McAllaster; and her brother Doran L. Rhodes. She is survived by: her children, Charles M. McAllaster of Longmont, Colo (James W. McAllaster), Nancy J. Champion (Tom) of Shelby Township, Mich, Claudia McAllaster of Leavenworth and Paula A. McAllaster (Tammy Ellison) of Wichita; her sister Joan M. Burnham of Olathe; and her grandchildren, Nick Wilkoff (Sun), Anna Jochum (Eric) and Luke Feil (Christa). She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

She negotiated the many disorientations and frustrations of Alzheimer's with grace and dignity.
