It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Eugene Fordyce of Great Bend, Kansas, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on December 14, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn G. Fordyce and Oreta N. Fordyce (Plummer); his wife Naida Jeanne Householter; and his sisters, Lois Painter (Red) and Dorothy Ross (Thomas).
He is survived by: his children, Scott Fordyce (Laura) of Hondo, Sharla Durrett (Robin) of Great Bend and Mark Fordyce (Kim) of Colleyville, Texas; his grandchildren, Melina Salazar (Raleigh) of Tacoma, Ty Fordyce of Austin, Sara Alvarado of Hondo, Silvester Alvarado of Hondo, Johnathan Durrett of Fredonia, Jacob Durrett (Caitlin) of Manhattan, Mysha Dumois (Tim) of Dallas and Mark William Fordyce, II (Sarah) of Grand Prairie, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Hudson Dumois, Mark William Fordyce, III (Tripp), Rhett, Archer Fordyce and Mia Salazar.
