It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dan Ochs Jr. (Great Bend, Kansas), born in Otis, Kansas, who passed away on February 24, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Ochs, Sr. and Violet Ochs (Schutler); his wife Catherine Martin; his sisters, Wanda Jacobs and Leona Hanhardt; and his grandson Aaron Ochs.

He is survived by: his sons, Michael Ochs (Stella) of Great Bend and Roy Ochs (Julie) of Omaha, Neb.; and his sisters, Norma Jean Ochs of Holdrege, Neb. and Donna Smolick (Richard) of Timken. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

“I have known Dan all my life. He was always there for my Grand Parents Richard and Mary Lipprand. Always was helping some way. He will be missed by all at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. He also help my brother Don Lipprand and were good friends for many years. Respectfully Ken and Kathi Lipprand.”
