He was predeceased by: his sister Susan LaJoy Pruter. He is survived by: his parents, Orville Pruter and Betty Pruter (Zweifel) of Natoma, Kansas.; his wife Jane Thummel; his children, Joel Pruter (Erin) of Hays, Kansas, Amanda Markley (Andrew) of Goodland and Katie Snodgrass (Geoffrey) of Spavinaw, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Rayne Markley, Jensen Markley, Itzhak Pruter and Avram Pruter; and his brothers, Gale Pruter (Teresa) of Osborne, Daryl Pruter (Lisa) of Neodesha, Doug Pruter (Dina) of Hays and Kevin Pruter (France) of Blue Springs, Missouri. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
