He is survived by: his children, Randy Barta (Kayla) of Overland Park and Cindy McQuade (Tim) of Hoisington; his grandchildren, Mike Barta of Lenexa, Ryan McQuade of Hays, Mark Barta of Mission and Holly Simpson of Topeka; his great grandchildren, Chace Barta and Charlotte Rose Barta; his sisters-in-law, Emily Zorn of Hoisington and Anne Ehrlich of Haven; and his sister Loretta Podlena of Great Bend.
