He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Barker and Ollie V. Barker (Morris); and his siblings, Donald Barker, Warren Barker, John Barker, Jr., Estel Barker, Edna Hyden, Pauline Barker and Leona Ritchhart.
He is survived by: his spouse Minna E. Dovel; his children, Brad Barker (Gail) of Pueblo, CO, Sandra Muth (Tony) of Great Bend and Vernetta Wells (Chadd) of Enterprise; his stepchildren, Laura Harbe (Shane) of McPherson and Mitch Cobb of Russell; and his grandchildren, Norbert Muth, Malia Carlson, Josh Foos, David Foos, Terance Wells, Joe Wells, Ashley Barker and Brandon Barker. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Golden Belt Humane Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
