It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Calvin Clifford Winter of Great Bend, Kansas, born in Hoisington, Kansas, who passed away on February 15, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Henry and Mae June Winter (Mowry); his former wives, Marie Smith and Marie Winter; his daughter Fawne Winter; his siblings, Harold Winter, Dr. Wayne Winter, Glenn Winter, Velma Betz and Dorothy Dowse; and his grandson Sabin Steinbacher.
He is survived by: his wife Linnea Winter; his daughters, Debra Steinbacher (Jim) of New Braunfels and Tex (Kim Maneth); his brother Dr. Walter H. Winter, Jr. of Arvada, Colo.; and his grandchildren, Trista Voos, Tabor Maneth, Gabriel Nall, Cade Brodbeck, Ashley Brown, Sydney Steinbacher and Nate Steinbacher. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Memorials have been designated to the USD 428 Education Foundation, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
