He was predeceased by: his grandmother Karry Deschner; and his great-grandparents, Delbert, Charlotte Deschner, Glynnis Boyd, Barbara Deschner, Duane and Lucille Kugler.
He is survived by: his parents, Blake VanderGiesen and Barbara VanderGiesen (Deschner); his brother Bankston Boyd of Great Bend; his grandparents, Brad Deschner of Great Bend, Gary and Marla VanderGiesen of Smith Center; and his great-grandparents, Junior and Marideen VanderGiesen of Smith Center. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
