She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Standish and Eula Standish (Edwards); her husband Jack Schmidt; her daughter-in-law Barbara Schmidt; and her brothers, Jack Standish and Virgil Standish, Jr..

She is survived by: her sons, Robert Schmidt (Karen) of Chandler, Ariz and Douglas Schmidt (Debbie Mrozinski) of Manitowoc, Wis.; and her granddaughter Christy Goddard (Darrell).

Memorials have been designated to the Alzheimer's Foundation, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
