He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Schneweis and Anna Schneweis (Klug); his children, Alan Schneweis and Bernadette Schneweis; and his siblings, Raymond Schneweis, Tom Schneweis, Mary Welsh and Dorothy Myers.
He is survived by: his sons, Leon Schneweis (Cinda) of Lawrence, Richard Schneweis (Debbie) of Claflin, Mark Schneweis of Fallon, Nev, Paul Schneweis (Renee) of Great Bend and Tony Schneweis (Mike Schneweis) of Manhattan; his daughter-in-law Susan Schneweis of Ellinwood; his brother Jim Schneweis (Loraine) of Hoisington; and his grandchildren, Rachel, Nathan, Phillip, Fred, Jon, Cindy, Matthew, Angie, Travis, Erin, Bryce, Rian, Steiner, Curtis, Cierra, Christopher and Faith. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
Due to COVID19, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
