It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlene Marie Karlin of Great Bend, Kansas, born in Pfeifer, Kansas, who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Dome and Veronica Dome (Befort); her husband Leroy Karlin; her grandson Thomas Joseph Karlin; and her siblings, Joseph, Vernon Dome and Ruby Karlin.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Karlin (Judy) of Shawnee, Joe Karlin (Amy) of Lenexa, Kan., Mary Waite (Mel) of Ellinwood, Susan Broeckelman (Rodney) of Mankato and Jean Scarfino (Joe) of St. Louis; and her sisters, Virginia Kisner, Shirley Gregory and Fran Hunter. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to Prince of Peace Parish or Kansans for Life, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
