He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Phillips and Eva Phillips; his daughter Lucinda "Cindy"; and his son-in-law Darrin Huett. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Schroeder (Wally) of Topeka; his siblings, Ricky Phillips of Topeka, Bernice Beskow, Teresa Kilpatrick and Clara Norris of Topeka; his grandchildren, Angel Creech, Dora Neeley (Travis) and Derek Huett; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Alexa, Audrianna, Jaydin and Caleb.
