She was predeceased by: her parents, George Harold and Odella Deges (Marcotte); her husband Roy Ochs Jr.; and her brothers, Bernard Deges, Eldon Deges and Richard Deges.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Ochs (Lesa) of Quinter, KS, Dee Foster (Jack) of Grainfield, Dar Hickert (Tim) of Hays, KS and Connie Rupp (Gary) of Tribune, KS; her grandchildren, Amy Leiker (Cory), Angie Foster, Justin Foster (Shannon), Dustin Hickert (Robynn), Kara Top (Nic), Ryan Ochs (Tiff), Shawna Ochs, Emily Rupp and Audrey Rupp; and her brothers, Elmer Deges, Leon Deges and Eugene Deges. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Due to concerns involving COVID-19, a private family service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020, with interment to follow at the Grainfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Grainfield American Legion Auxiliary and Gove County Medical Center Long Term Care facility. Donations to the organizations may be sent to Schmitt Funeral Home, 901 S. Main St. Quinter, KS 67752.
