He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dinkel and Christina Dinkel (Kaiser); and his siblings, Mary, Francis, Richard, Darlene and Loretta.
He is survived by: his sister Louella Zerr (Willie) of Oakley, Kansas; his children, John Dinkel (Laura) of Leander, Texas, Vicki Jarnagin (Joel) of Goddard, Kansas, Jim Dinkel (Cindy) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Brad Dinkel of Round Rock, Texas and Scott Dinkel (April) of Lincoln, Nebraska.; his grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica, Jayde, Joshua, Trevin, Trajan and Tatiana; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Jase, Cooper, Reagan, Aleyna, Aston, Evelyn and Iylah.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Grainfield Community Development Committee or the Grainfield Volunteer Fire Department and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
