It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene Friedel (Grainfield, Kansas), who passed away on August 15, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Richard; and her brother Claire Jacob. She is survived by: her children, Terry, Randy L. Selbe (Kelly) of Goodland and Susan Irene Keith (Paul) of Quinter; her stepchildren, Melanie Rhodes of Elk City, Kenneth Friedel (Jodi Wright) of Beaver and Ed Deges (Jolene) of WaKeeney; her grandchildren, Traci Thompson (Kevin), Travis Mendenhall, Tyler Selbe, Janessa Selbe, Cody Kinderknecht, Lane Keith, Dylan Friedel, Sacia Friedel, Lillian Rhodes, Zachary Rhodes, Justin Deges and Nicole Jacob; and her siblings, Dale Jacob (Ann) of Deerfield, Loyal J. Jacob of Middleboro and Joyce Gallagher (Frank) of Hoxie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
