She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kinderknecht and Philomena Kinderknecht (Hertel); her husband Alfred Heier; her children, Alan, Kay Ann and Catherine Marie; and her grandson Brandon Heier.
She is survived by: her siblings, Emanuel Kinderknecht (Marilyn), Angeline Kaiser (Robert), Alberta Wolf (John), Olinda Zeigler (Douglas) and Caroline Kaiser; her sons, David, Ron (Patti), Mel (Catherine) and Larry (Marilyn); her sister Dorothy Schroeder (Don); and her brother-in-law Frank Kaiser. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church in Grinnell or St. Agnes Catholic Church in Grainfield, or for masses and may be sent in care of Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, P.O. Box 221, Oakley, KS 67748.
