He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Steerman and Earlene Steerman (Bretton). He is survived by: his children, Dusty Steerman (Brenda) of Gove, Kansas and Shelby Getz of Grainfield, Kansas; his grandchildren, Austin Hawkins, Layla Steerman, Leeta, Junior Gorczyca, Layne, Layton and Sage Getz; and his siblings, David Steerman (Diane) of Wamego, Kansas and Deborah Heideman (Dale) of Alta Vista, Kansas..
