With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal Prather (Gove, Kansas), who passed away on February 10, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Evans and Velma Blanche Evans (Walt); her husband Arnold Prather; and her sisters, Louise Pearce and Velma Briggs.
She is survived by: her children, William E. Prather (Kathy), Jeffrey A. Prather (Linda) of Gove and Tomaye Hipp (Randy Ladenburger) of Oakley, KS; and her grandchildren, Garth Prather of Wichita, KS, Clint Prather of Healy, KS, Lance Prather of Hutchinson, KS, Megan Alexander (Brady) of Stillwater, OK, Heather Henderson (Trevor) of Goodland, KS, Traci Taylor (Matt) of Rose Hill, KS, Jay Hipp of Hays, KS, Travis Ladenburger (DeAnn Dreitz) of Oakley, Kristen Binder (Randy) of Miliken, CO and Jamie Ladenburger of Remington, VA. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
