He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth C. Bland and Elsie Mae Bland (Tindal); and his son Boyd M. Bland, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Karen Ann Herl; his children, Jennifer Novak (Jon) of Oketo, Jessica Ferguson (Dennis) of Hampton, Nebraska and Jamie Bland (Misty) of Gove; his sister Barbara Zimmerman (Darrell) of Mulvane, Kansas.; and his grandchildren, Shayla, Brandon Novak, Grant, Lofton, Kenley Ferguson, Haelie, Auston and Kelsie Bland.
