With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christopher L. Weigel of Gorham, Kansas, born in Russell, Kansas, who passed away on January 9, 2022 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Cecil Weigel and Ruth Weigel (Dreiling) of Gorham, Kansas; his wife Donna Hammersmith; his children, Cassandra Dinkel (Jesse) of Russell, Kansas and Justin Weigel (Annie) of Gorham, Kansas; his sisters, Tonya Murphy (Mike) of Gorham, Jackie Jaimez (Shawn) of Lawrence and April Basgall (Brad) of Hays, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Gracelynn, Braigan, Nyliah, Aubree, Bryker, Brailey and Kipton.

A Memorial has been established with GCDA Park or Junior Broncos Football.
