He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Kunz and Alice Kunz (Eichten); and his brothers, Mike, John and Jim Kunz.
He is survived by: his friends, Lobo, Tay, Caleb and Ed; his wife Denyse Marie Simpleman of Goodland, KS; his children, Mellanie Trachsel (Cleve) of Goodland, KS, Staci Hennick (Jason) of Sharon Springs, KS and TJ Kunz (Jess) of Canon City, CO.; his grandchildren, Tyler Rodosevich (Savanna) of Sharon Springs, KS, Layne Goodwin (Trenton Mitchek) of Eads, CO, Haylee Hennick of Sharon Springs, KS and Chayton Goodwin of Goodland, KS; his great grandchildren, Tyler and Banks; and his siblings, Rick Kunz (Judy), Mollye Graber (Rex) and Anna Ruble (Art). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
