He is survived by: his sons, Tom Rooney (Gail) of Champaign, IL and Kurt Rooney (Martha) of Louisville, CO; his daughter-in-law Dolores Rooney of Tucson, AZ.; and his grandchildren, Shane Rooney (Shandi), Shauna Hoak (Chris), Renee O'Lear (Jorge), Natalie Ross (Mike), Bryan Rooney (Margaret), Michelle Lawson (Justin), Chris Rooney, Kyle Rooney and Allison Rooney. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
