He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Antonia Tresia (Burk) and James Merlin Scott; his brother Henry Burk (Gladys); his wife Evelyn Marie Burk; his siblings, Wilburn, Willard, Lee Vern Bert, Leroy Paul Scott and Elnore Marie Burk Elliott; his son Michael Burk (Joyce) of Goodland, KS.; his grandchildren, Jon Burk of Haysville, KS, Josh Burk (Anna), JT Burk (Erin) of University Place and JD Burk (Misty) of Goodland, KS; and his brother Bert Funk (Carol) of Oklahoma City.
