She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen F. Hurd and Ada Eileen Hurd (Mulkey); her husband Ray Townsend; and her brothers, Don and Darrell Hurd.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Townsend (Lynda) of Goodland and Amy (Craig Good) of Olsburg, Kansas.; her grandchildren, Christa (Doug Smith) of Severn, Andra (Michael Nielsen) of Wichita, Ross Townsend (Ashley) of Goodland, Laura Good (Isidro Linan Jimenez) and Grant Good; and her sisters, Wanda Fitterer of Oregon, Donna Dee Thompson of Oregon and Betty Hurd of Oregon.
