She was predeceased by: her parents, William McDaniel and Dora McDaniel; her husband Leonard Owens; her daughter Brenda; her daughter-in-law Kathy Owens; and her siblings, James McDaniel and Shirley Garner.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Frieburger (Roy) of Goodland, KS, Leonard John Jr. Owens (Sondra) of Edson and Darrell Owens (Diana); her sisters, Bernadine Amos and Marlene Perkell of Grand Junction, CO; and her sister-in-law Annabelle McDaniel of Scott City, KS.. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
