He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola M. Cloyd (Ellis) and Van W. Cloyd; his wife Ethelyn Jones; his siblings, Betty Harris, Gladys Miller, Velma Stephens, Bunola Hill, Harold and Phillip Cloyd; and his granddaughter Samantha Branson.
He is survived by: his children, Dennice Farr (CT) of Weskan, KS and Darrel Cloyd (Becky) of Colwich, KS; and his siblings, Van W (Laura Cloyd) of Sharon Springs, KS and Marvel Armstrong of Wichita, KS. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
