Betty L. Wright Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2025, at the age of 94, Betty L. Wright of Goodland, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Elliott and Nettie Elliott (Smalley); her husband Harold D. Wright; her daughter Nancy Wright; her granddaughter Lisa Lyn Goetz; her great grandchild Christopher Rohr; her son-in-law Norman Heupel; and her siblings, Elmer, Leonard, Edgar, Charles, Eugene, Henry, John, Thelma Felzien and Reha Elliott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dora Heupel of Russell, KS and Lois Morris of Aurora, CO; her grandchildren, David Corke (Sandy) of Boyington, FL, Eric Corke of Goodland, KS, Brad Rohr (Tracie) of Aurora, CO, Bruce Rohr of Lawrence, KS and Marcy Goetz-Than (Harry) of Thornton, CO; her great grandchildren, William, Ashley, Hailey Rohr, Talon, Danika Corke, Teagan Vaughn, Tycia, Tabbiath Zertuche, Sophia, Dylan and Zadie Than; and her great great grandchild Lilath. She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bateman Funeral Home (211 E 11th St, Goodland, KS 67735). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at the Kanorado Cemetery (301 Locust St, Kanorado, KS 67741).
