It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arleda Short of Goodland, Kansas, who passed away on April 15, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Edward and Mildred Short (Patton); her stepfather Ray Walkins; her sister Verneda Short; her half-siblings, Marjory Long and Darold Short; and her uncle Raymond Patton.
She is survived by: her siblings, Susan Short and Harold Short (Jocelyn); her stepsister Dorothy Beckner (Bob); her daughter Karina Plecker; and her grandchildren, Letha Hougland (James), Thaddeus Plecker (Mackenzie), Timothy Plecker, Kevin Plecker and Izaak Plecker. She is also survived by six nieces, two nephews and many cousins.
