She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Flossie Irene Brown (Lodge); her husband Robert R. Dirksen; and her siblings, Jim Brown and Joy Dahlem.
She is survived by: her children, Ron (Sandy) and Debra (Keven); her granddaughter Lauren Hiebert; and her siblings, Ann Ellison and John (Ruby). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
