Norman Edward Schroeder Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Edward Schroeder of Goessel, Kansas, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schroeder and Susie Schroeder (Reimer); his former wife LuEtta Schroeder; his son Delwin Schroeder; and his brothers, Raymond and Milferd Schroeder.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Schroeder (Gehring) of Goessel; his children, James Schroeder (Janice) of Newton and Kathryn Woelk (Robert) of Hillsboro; his daughter-in-law DaLonna Schroeder of Hesston; his stepchildren, Darryl Wall (Val) of Valley Center and Sandra Rush (Howard) of Hutchinson; and his brother Vernon Schroeder of Lititz, PA.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bethesda Home (408 E Main St, Goessel, KS 67053). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church Cemetery (1304 K, KS-15, Goessel, KS 67053). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church (1304 K, KS-15, Goessel, KS 67053).
