LeRoy W. Woelk Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2025, at the age of 93, LeRoy W. Woelk of Goessel, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Woelk and Anna Woelk (Franz); and his sister Viola Nachtigal. He is survived by: his wife Marcella Woelk of Goessel; his children, Bryce L. Woelk (Kathy) of Goessel, Debra L. Ewert (Harris) of Hillsboro and Kelvin L. Woelk (Jennifer) of Fort Collins, CO; his grandchildren, Amanda "A. J." Wood (Stephen Pettigrew) of Valley Center and Michael Woelk (Krysta) of Goessel; and his brother Charles Woelk (Mary Ann) of Goessel.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bethesda Home (408 E Main St, Goessel, KS 67053). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Goessel Mennonite Church Cemetery (1252 Alamo, Newton, KS 67114). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Goessel Church (109 S Church St, Goessel, KS 67053).
