He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Schroeder and Frieda Schmidt Schroeder; his brothers, Jerry Schroeder and Clyde Schroeder; and his daughter-in-law Michelle Schroeder.
He is survived by: his spouse Lavina Ann Nickel; his children, Ron Schroeder of Goessel and Jodi Unruh (Mike) of Goessel; his sisters, Annalene Klassen (Ruben) of Goessel and Vera Flaming (Howard) of Dallas, Oregon; and his sisters-in-law, Darlene Schroeder of Goessel and Sharon Schroeder of Hillsboro. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
