He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred C. Wedel and Ida Edith Wedel (Koehn); his wife Verda Ethel Boese; and his sisters, Ella, Marie and Bertha.
He is survived by: his children, Fred Wedel (Brenda) of Burlington, CO, Jennalee Boggs (Dennis) of Hutchinson, KS, Jan Voth (Jerry) of Hesston, KS and Leslie Wedel (Terri) of Goessel, KS. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
