She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jimmy Lee Akers and Joy Sikes; and her parents, Barney Mack, Sr. and Elsie Edna Akers (Griffin). She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Cindy Dennis (Susan) of Wichita, Debbie Rinehart (Stan) of Sublette, Diane Dennis (Mac) of Wichita and Kenneth Dennis (Janet) of Dighton; her siblings, Barney Akers (Dixie) of Kendall, Martha Pfannenstiel of Dodge City and Anita Williamson (Jim) of Garden City; her grandchildren, Lisa Rouse (Nick), Janae Biernacki (Tyler), Kristi Rinehart, Maggie Webber (Cory), Jamie Rinehart Gaede (Mitchell) and Breann Dennis; and her siblings, Melva Joy and Barney Mack, Jr.. She is also survived by 2 great-granddaughters; 3 great-grandsons.
